● How to register for participation and abstract submission
Those attending or presenting at the branch meeting, please apply using the link below (Google Forms) during the registration period (October 4 to November 12, 5:00 PM).

●To Participants
We will send information regarding the Zoom link for participation on the day of the event to the email address you registered in advance. Please join using the designated Zoom link on the day. If you registered in advance and have not received the email from the tournament secretariat (sent on November 30) at the email address you provided, please contact Nakamachi in charge of the program (nakamachi[at]sci.u-toyama.ac.jp: please replace [at] with a half-width @ symbol).
Please handle the Zoom link with care and do not share it with third parties who are not participants. This is to prevent interference and disruptions caused by unauthorized access.
Participants without a presentation, please register your name on Zoom as "Name_Affiliation" (e.g., Tomoya Nakamachi_Toyama Univ.).
Except for the chairpersons and presenters, please turn off your microphones and cameras. During the Q&A session, please raise your hand, and when your name is called by the chairperson, turn on your microphone to ask a question. Questions will also be accepted via the chat.

Unauthorized acquisition of the contents of the 2021 Zoological Society of Japan Chubu Branch Conference is strictly prohibited.
For all presentations given at this conference, unauthorized capture of any part or all of the information by any reason or method (such as audio recording, video recording, screenshots, downloading, etc.) without the permission of the presenter or others is strictly prohibited.
If prohibited behavior is discovered, the academic society and conference secretariat will strictly discuss how to respond.

●To Presenters: Regarding Symposia, General Presentations, and High School Presentations
The presentation time for high school and general presentations is 12 minutes (10 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for Q&A). The presentation time for the symposium is 40 minutes (35 minutes for presentation, 5 minutes for Q&A). As a guide for presentation time in high school and general presentations, a bell will ring once 8 minutes after the start, twice at 10 minutes, and three times at 12 minutes. No bells will be rung during the symposium. We kindly ask for your cooperation in finishing your presentations within the allotted time.
Presenters, please join via the designated Zoom address no later than 10 minutes before your session begins.
Please register your name on Zoom as "Presenter's Name_Affiliation" (e.g., Tomoya Nakamachi_University of Toyama). For high school student presentations, if connecting from a single PC, please register under the teacher's name. If a high school connects and presents using multiple PCs, please register as "First Author_Affiliation".
When it is time for your presentation session, we will make you a co-host (only co-hosts can share their screens). When it is your turn to present, please share your screen and begin your presentation. Please keep your camera on as much as possible during your presentation. However, if your connection is unstable, please turn off your camera to reduce data usage. Please stop sharing your screen promptly after your presentation concludes.
Please note that in the event that a presentation becomes difficult due to a connection error at the time of presentation or an accident during the presentation, the secretariat may, at its discretion, screen the presentation video submitted in advance.
Q&A is scheduled to be conducted through raised hands and by the chairperson reading aloud questions written in the chat.
Since a rehearsal cannot be held on the day of the presentation, please share your presentation file on Zoom using your own PC in advance to check that your presentation is displaying correctly. If you have any questions regarding sharing via Zoom in advance, please contact Maekawa for high school presentations (kmaekawa[at]sci.u-toyama.ac.jp) or Kawaguchi for general presentations (kawa[at]med.u-toyama.ac.jp).
