Dear Members of the Zoological Society
The Zoological Society of Japan provides a direct mail service for its members upon request from members, related academic societies, university research institutions, and other organizations. If you wish to send direct mail, please take note of the following points and submit your request to the Society Secretariat.
- Clear "Subject" line for an email requesting something from an academic society
Please use a format such as "Request for sending direct mail for public recruitment at [University Name], [Faculty Name]". - Direct mail sending "Title" is also required.
Currently, more than half of you are not writing a submission title for public recruitment articles and similar items. Please be sure to write a "title." Additionally, many of you are giving extremely long titles.Due to system specifications, the title is limited to 44 characters, regardless of whether they are full-width or half-width.。 - We may not be able to handle email submissions close to the deadline.
For public offerings with approaching deadlines, transmission might not make it in time if the secretariat is burdened with heavy workloads. It would be a great help if you could notify the secretariat well in advance. - Please create the document in Word and attach it to the request email.
- We are currently not sending PDFs as the file size becomes too largeSome research institution servers do not accept emails with PDF attachments.

The size of the image above is 400x200 pixels. Please create the image in JPG or PNG format and send it separately from the Word file of the main text.
Also, if you want news to be displayed with featured images on the TOP page as well, please create them so that the image elements are gathered in a square shape around the center of the image, because the images will be cropped into a square.
