As the largest branch of the Zoological Society of Japan, the Kanto Branch is dedicated to the development and promotion of zoology by providing opportunities for interaction among zoological researchers and conducting outreach activities for the general public.
The operation of the branch is supported by annual membership fees from branch members and the volunteer activities of branch officers and voluntary members.
