The Chubu Branch of the Zoological Society of Japan aims to promote the development of zoological research and education, and fosters communication and cooperation among researchers and educators in Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka, Nagano, Fukui, Ishikawa, and Toyama prefectures.
Our branch widely covers research on the diverse ecology, behavior, morphology, physiology, and evolution of animals, and actively engages in exchanging opinions among members and sharing the latest research results.
Furthermore, we are dedicated to fostering young researchers and students by providing them with opportunities to present their research, while also contributing to the promotion of science to the general public.
Through annual conferences, symposia, lectures, and other events, we aim to advance zoology and contribute to society, while supporting the establishment of a broad network.
We look forward to the participation of students and researchers in the activities of this branch, and we would greatly appreciate the support of anyone with a broad interest in zoology.
