■ 2019 Tournaments and Symposia Information
Announcement of the 2019 (Reiwa 1) Chubu Branch Meeting of the Zoological Society of Japan(06/19/2019)
This year's Chubu Branch Conference will be held on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Kanazawa City Cultural Hall (http://www.bunka-h.gr.jp/) will be held.
From April 2019, the College of Science and Engineering at Kanazawa UniversityNoto Marine Fisheries Centerwas opened. On the first day, we will introduce the center's overview and research activities through a public symposium titled "New Developments in Marine Biology in Noto - From Fish Developmental Engineering to Aquaculture." Additionally, poster presentations focusing on members and high school students will be held.
On the second day, oral presentations centered around members and high school students will be held. Presentations by non-members and members from outside the Chubu branch are also welcome.
The registration and abstract submission period for the Chubu Branch Conference isOctober 1 (Tue) – November 11 (Mon)is scheduled. Please feel free to register.
The tournament participation fee is free.
We look forward to your participation, along with the cuisine of winter Kanazawa.

No application is required. Please feel free to visit.
●To Presenters: Regarding Oral Presentations
- Oral presentations are scheduled to last 15-20 minutes in total, including both the presentation and discussion. We will notify you of the exact time as soon as the number of registered abstracts is finalized.
- Please bring your own laptop, tablet, etc., equipped with an external monitor output.
- Connection to the projector is via an analog RGB format using a VGA terminal (mini D-sub 15-pin).
- If you are using a device that does not have the above output terminal (such as a Mac or a recent Windows PC), please bring a conversion adapter.
- Please set the slide aspect ratio to "Standard (4:3)".
- The resolution supports common resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 pixels. Please adjust the external output size in advance.
- Presenters are requested to arrive at the oral presentation room no later than 15 minutes before the start of the tournament program on the day (by 12:45 on December 7 and by 8:45 on December 8) to check the operation of their own equipment and test-view their slides.
● For Presenters: Regarding Poster Presentations
- The space for putting up the poster is 120 cm wide and 210 cm high. Please also include the title, presentation title, affiliation, and name within that space.
- Presenters are requested to pin their posters to their designated panels between 12:45 and 13:15 on the day of their presentation (December 7). Push pins will be provided at the poster venue.
- Please take down your posters by around 17:45 after the presentation.
