I am deeply saddened by the extent of the damage caused by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake that occurred on July 28.
Our deepest sympathies go out to all those affected, and we pray for everyone working hard toward recovery to stay safe and achieve a full recovery as soon as possible.

The Zoological Society of Japan, offering a modest gesture of support, would like to exempt members affected by the 2026 Kumamoto earthquake from paying their membership dues for the fiscal year 2026, simply upon request to the Society. For those who have already paid their dues, refunds can also be arranged.
