Under Moonshot Goal 5, we are engaged in research and development with the aim of creating a sustainable, waste-free food supply industry on a global scale by 2050 through the full utilization of unexploited biological functions and other means.
We are holding a briefing session to widely communicate the results of Moonshot Goal 5, which is now entering its seventh year since the start of research, and the latest progress toward social implementation.
Program Director (PD) Fumiaki Yoshizawa (Executive Director and Vice President, Utsunomiya University) and eight Project Managers (PMs) will report on the vision of society aimed at by Moonshot Goal 5 and the main research results obtained so far. In addition, we will invite Professor Hiroaki Suga from the University of Tokyo, who has extensive experience in the commercialization of research results, to discuss strategies for linking research results to business in a panel discussion.
In addition to the lectures, you can interact directly with researchers at the poster session. There will also be an industry-academia collaboration consultation corner (advance registration required). We look forward to your participation.
