Members of the Federation of Biological Sciences Societies
Thank you for your continued support. The Japanese Society of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry would like to announce the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry as follows.
The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry is being prepared for an on-site event on October 22 and 23 at Nippon Medical School (Sendagi, Bunkyo-ku) in Tokyo.

As a special lecture
Professor Mayumi Nishi (Department of Anatomy, Nara Medical University)
As a symposium
Significance, performance verification, and development of histochemistry and cytochemistry
Professor Toshiyuki Matsuzaki (Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, Gunma University Graduate School of Medicine)
Professor Nobuhiko Ohno (Department of Anatomy, Division of Histology, Jichi Medical University)
Professor Toshihiro Takizawa (Department of Molecular Anatomy, Graduate School of Medicine, Nippon Medical School)
Usefulness of Histochemistry in Pathophysiological Analysis and Pathological Diagnosis
Professor Hideo Tanaka (Department of Cellular and Molecular Functional Pathology, Graduate School of Medical Science, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine)
Professor Shinobu Masuda (Division of Tumor Pathology, Nihon University School of Medicine)
Professor Sohei Kitazawa (Department of Molecular Pathology, Graduate School of Medicine, Ehime University)
As another workshop, we plan to introduce advanced histochemical and cytochemical techniques by young researchers. Registration and abstract submission are currently open.
Although some aspects remain unpredictable, judging by the timeline, I hope that the seventh wave will peak out by mid-October and that we will be able to hold an in-person event at a good timing.
While there is hardly anything flashy, I would like to aim for holding an academic conference while searching for the true nature and origins of an academic society—a place where scholars who want to learn seriously gather and can engage in deep opinion exchange and discussion.
We sincerely ask for and look forward to your participation.
The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry
Chairperson: Kazufumi Ozawa (Professor Emeritus, Nippon Medical School; Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences, Bukkyo University)
