Dear Members of the Zoological Society of Japan

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Japan held from 13:00 on Saturday, June 4, four members were nominated as honorary members by the directors.
After hearing the explanation of the reasons for recommendation from the recommending board member, the board deliberated and decided to confer the title of honorary member on the following four individuals.

Member Yoshitaka Oka (Department of Biological Sciences, Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo)
Member Eiji Numata (Department of Biology, Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University)
Sadao Yasugi, Member (Graduate School of Science, Tokyo Metropolitan University)
