1. Purpose of the Survey
Amidst intensifying global competition, the issue surrounding researcher evaluation has become a major problem within the research environment.
This survey aims to extract academic and policy insights to create an environment where researchers can unleash their intrinsic motivation and conduct research activities in a healthy manner, particularly in the life sciences field, by focusing on research evaluation and the sense of daily research practice.
2. Target of investigation
This survey is intended for individuals involved in research and development in the life sciences field (including graduate students and early-career professionals).

4. Publication of results
The obtained results will be widely published and discussed after conducting academic analysis in a form that does not identify individuals. Furthermore, based on reports and data, we will actively utilize these findings to share proposals with policymakers and society at large in order to consider the future shape of the research ecosystem and the science, technology, and academic policies required for it.
