This year, elections for directors, branch committee members, and other positions will be held.
Regarding the election, at the board meeting held on December 5, 2023, Article 4 of the branch regulations was revised.
This is related to the election of branch representatives.
Until now, board member elections and branch elections have been conducted using the lists of electors and candidates finalized around March.
However, the personnel changes in April were not reflected in the roster, and frequent corrections and remakes placed a heavy burden on those in charge of elections at the local branches.
To slightly reduce the burden of election administration and to conduct elections with as accurate a voter list as possible, we asked each branch to consider the following, and received approval from all branches.
○Postpone the compilation period for the electoral roll and the list of eligible candidates to create them in April.
Move up the election timing of the branch representative committee members to elect them at the same time as the directors
In response to this, it was resolved to amend Article 4, Section 2 of the branch regulations to better reflect the selection process.
This year, the election of branch representatives, which has conventionally been held around June, will instead take place around May.
Prior to the election, we would like to inform everyone.
