My name is Yusuke Notomi, Representative of the Young Researchers' Association of the Japan Society for Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry.
This is an announcement for the 3rd Next-Generation Insect Frontier Research Meeting, organized by the Young Researchers' Association of the Japanese Society for Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry, to be held this December at the University of Tokyo.

This research group aims to strengthen connections among young researchers interested in the study of "bugs" (small arthropods in general), and engages in cross-disciplinary exchange that transcends the boundaries of existing academic fields such as behavioral science, ecology, taxonomy, evolutionary biology, and physiology.
Thanks to your support, it has been held with great success every year.
We are widely recruiting participants from all over the country, ranging from first-year undergraduate students who have not yet started research to graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could share this information with those around you.

Target
Undergraduate to graduate students, postdocs, and others interested in the study of "bugs" (small arthropods)
* Membership in the Japan Society for Comparative Physiology and Biochemistry is not required.
[Content]
Each person will give an oral presentation of about 3 to 5 minutes (subject to change depending on the number of participants).
You can talk about your research, your thoughts on insects, or anything at all. Please think of it as a simple self-introduction.
*In addition, we are also planning recreational activities to foster deeper interaction.

* Travel expenses will be partially subsidized.
