At the Zoological Society of Japan, this is the time of year when membership applications tend to increase due to presentations at the Nagoya Annual Meeting.

We kindly ask those considering joining to keep the following points in mind. Additionally, if you are thinking of presenting at the Nagoya Conference, we would greatly appreciate it if you could encourage members in your laboratory or nearby to join early, keeping the following points in mind.

1. After submitting your membership data, a confirmation email will not be sent automatically. The secretariat checks for new members several times a day and manually "approves" them. If you submit your membership data in the evening or at night, approval will generally take place the following day. We kindly ask that you wait after submitting your data and refrain from submitting it multiple times.

2. Please carefully enter your email address to ensure there are no errors. The confirmation email will be sent to the registered address. Also, please help us by providing your affiliation up to the department and laboratory name.

3. Once you receive the confirmation email and your personal ID and password are finalized, you will be able to register for participation and submit abstracts for the Nagoya Annual Meeting. Please pay the Zoological Society annual membership fee using the transfer form that will be sent to you at a later date.
