Publication of Reasons and Abstracts for the 2025 Zoological Society of Japan Awards: Prize for Scientific Contribution, Encouragement Prize, Narimote Prize for the Advancement of Animal Science, and Prize for Excellence in Zoological Education

Dear Members of the Zoological Society of Japan

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Japan held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM, the Selection Committee for Awards and Other Honors recommended candidates for the Zoological Society of Japan Award, the Zoological Society of Japan Prominent Service Award (Encouragement Award), the Narimune Animal Science Promotion Award, and the Zoology Education Award.
As a result of deliberation, the Zoological Society of Japan Board of Directors has decided on the award recipients as follows.
