In 2025, the Act on Authorization of Public Interest Incorporated Associations was revised, making it mandatory to appoint at least one external director and one external auditor.
In response to this, please be informed that at the Board of Directors meeting held on June 12, 2026, Article 8 of the Bylaws was revised.
Specifically, while noting the external directors, we have also explicitly stated the inclusion of external corporate auditors, as external individuals have previously served in that capacity.

(Fixed Number of Directors)
Article 8. Director candidates shall be elected from among regular members and student members, excluding honorary members. The election of director candidates shall be conducted by members on a branch-by-branch basis, with the fixed number of directors for each branch except the Kanto branch being 2, and the fixed number of directors for the Kanto branch being 6. The President and Vice Presidents may nominate a certain number of additional director candidates in addition to the director candidates elected by the branches.
2 If the fixed number of directors referred to in the preceding paragraph is changed within the number stipulated in Article 22 of the articles of incorporation, it shall be done by a resolution of the board of directors.

Article 8. The fixed number of directors shall be two for each branch excluding the Kanto Branch, and six for the Kanto Branch. Director candidates shall be elected from general members and student members, excluding honorary members, and separately, at least one external director as prescribed in Article 5, Paragraph 15 of the Act on Authorization of Public Interest Incorporated Associations and Public Interest Foundation Associations shall be appointed. Director candidates other than external directors shall be elected by members on a branch-by-branch basis and appointed at the general meeting of members. The President and Vice Presidents may recommend a certain number of director candidates in addition to the branch-elected director candidates. External director candidates shall also be recommended by the President and Vice Presidents, and external directors shall be appointed at the general meeting of members from among the candidates so recommended.
2. The number of auditors shall be two. Of these, at least one external auditor as provided for in Article 5, Paragraph 16 of the Act on Authorization of Public Interest Incorporated Associations and Public Interest Incorporated Foundations shall be appointed, and shall be elected at the general meeting of members.
3 If the fixed numbers of persons set forth in Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 2 are to be changed within the number of persons provided for in Article 22 of the articles of incorporation, it shall be subject to a resolution of the board of directors.
