To the members of the Diversity Promotion in Science and Technology Associations (or: To the members of the Liaison Association of Gender Equal Participation in Science and Universities)
Thank you very much for your continued support of our association's activities.
Now, since the state of emergency issued in April due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection, working from home has continued due to long-term school closures and the suspension of research. There is concern that such situations may be repeated intermittently, for example, due to a resurgence of infections depending on the circumstances. Therefore, we would like to investigate the actual conditions of scientists and technologists caused by changes in the environment like the current one, and urgently request necessary support from the government. Accordingly, the Liaison Committee Proposal and Request WG (Chairperson Noriko Hirata) has created an individual questionnaire to investigate the actual conditions of scientists and technologists working from home during the state of emergency.
Please respond via the form below by June 13.
Please note that even if you belong to multiple academic societies, please limit your response to one per person.

In addition, this questionnaire can also be answered by members of academic societies and associations other than our liaison committee, as well as researchers at university research institutions.
We sincerely ask for your cooperation in widely publicizing this so that as many people as possible can respond.
That's all.
