The Japan Association for the Advancement of Science (JAAS) is a non-profit organization established last year with the slogan "Let's revitalize Japanese science!"
The JAAS Annual Meeting 2023 "Meetable Scientists Festival" aims to provide the general public with opportunities to meet and talk with scientists they rarely interact with in daily life, to create a venue where scientists, who tend to remain confined in narrow circles, can communicate their passion broadly to society, and to serve as a catalyst for scientists and experts from different fields and industries to meet and spark new ideas and innovations.
We warmly welcome proposals from scientists for easy-to-understand poster presentations, exhibitions, symposia, or stage events aimed at the general public (Primary application deadline: Friday, July 21).
