The Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency (ERCA) will begin accepting applications for newly adopted projects for fiscal year 2024 under the Environment Research and Technology Development Fund, a competitive research fund managed by the Ministry of the Environment, starting in September 2023.

■ What is the "Environmental Research and Technology Development Fund"?
This is a competitive research fund overseen by the Ministry of the Environment, aimed at promoting the accumulation of scientific knowledge and technological development that are essential for advancing environmental policy.
The research areas consist of five domains: climate change, resource circulation, harmonious coexistence with nature, ensuring safety, and an integrated domain spanning these four areas.
