This is an announcement for the 2020 Zoological Society of Japan Kanto Branch Public Lecture.

We will hold a public lecture sponsored by the Kanto Branch of the Zoological Society of Japan as follows. This year, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus, it will be held in an online format broadcasting videos in real time. Participation is free. If you wish to participate, please register in advance. We look forward to the participation of many of you. Please note that while we are striving to secure a sufficient number of participation slots, in the event of a large number of applicants, it may be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Theme: Diversity of reproduction found in the animal kingdom

Objective: Animals adopt diverse reproductive strategies, and a wide variety of species have evolved. In this session, researchers specializing in mollusks, cartilaginous fish, bony fish, and birds will introduce the reproductive diversity found in their respective animals. This lecture is intended for junior high and high school students as well as the general public, so please feel free to join us.
