Our institute is seeking a specially appointed researcher or specially appointed technical staff member to engage in environmental DNA analysis, starting in July or later. The job duties include DNA extraction, preparation of next-generation sequencing libraries, and next-generation sequencing runs for environmental DNA analysis. 4. Organization Description: Since starting in 1994 as the world's first research institute specializing in DNA, the Kazusa DNA Research Institute has decoded the genes of various organisms. The Gene Structure Analysis Group ensures the reliable transfer of accumulated know-how, centered on DNA sequencing technology, while promoting the utilization of research results in various fields.
5. Job description: Environmental DNA analysis work. DNA extraction, preparation of libraries for next-generation sequencing, next-generation sequencing run work, etc.
6. Qualifications: (Project Researcher) Ph.D. in life sciences (biology, agriculture, science, engineering, etc.). (Project Technical Staff) Persons who have graduated from a vocational school, university, or completed a master's program in the life sciences (biology, agriculture, science, engineering, etc.), or have equivalent experience. Experience in conducting molecular biology experiments is preferred.

8. Selection Method: Selection will be made through document screening and interviews. Document screening will be conducted first as the primary selection, and interviews will be held for those who pass the primary selection. Depending on social conditions such as the COVID-19 infection situation, web interviews may also be conducted.

10. Working hours: In accordance with our institute's regulations.
