At the board meeting held on Friday, December 12, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, it was resolved to change the application period for the Myohara Mariko Research Encouragement Grant. The application period for fiscal year 2026 will be from April 1 to April 30, 2026, at noon, making the deadline about 10 days earlier than the previous year.

It was also resolved to change the application period for the Zoological Society's nominees for various foundations, such as the Inoue Foundation for Science, Toray Science Foundation, and Kihara Memorial Foundation, which are usually solicited in August. For fiscal year 2026, the period is scheduled from July 21 to August 20, shifting the application period forward by about 10 days.

As in previous years, we will notify all members via direct mail when the application period opens, but please keep this in mind if you are considering applying in 2026.
