The culinary culture, which makes use of ingredients produced in Hokkaido, is another one of Sapporo's appeals. It is packed with delicious foods such as fresh seafood, a wealth of fruits, and stylish sweets. In addition, the former Hokkaido Government Office building (Akarenga Chosha), one of the famous sightseeing spots, completed large-scale renovations and reopened in July 2025.
