Grant for the Promotion of Science Education
The Nakatani Foundation for the Advancement of Development in Science, a public interest incorporated foundation, provides grants for initiatives aimed at promoting science education in elementary, junior high, and high schools, etc., in order to encourage the development of children's logical thinking and creativity.
We are also accepting applications for the fiscal year 2026 grants as follows.
Application Period: October 1, 2025 – November 30, 2025 (Strict deadline)
[Individual School Grant] Up to 300,000 yen/year × 1 year
[Multi-school Collaboration Grant] Up to 1 million yen/year × 2 years (up to 2 million yen in total)
[Teacher Support Grant] Up to 1 million yen/year × 3 years (up to 3 million yen in total)

[Next-Generation Science and Engineering Talent Development Program Grant]
The Nakatani Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation, provides grants for programs that discover and develop junior high school students with exceptional aptitude, with the aim of nurturing individuals who will be active in the field of science and technology in the future.
We are also accepting applications for the fiscal year 2026 grants as follows.
Application period: October 1 – November 20, 2025 (Strict deadline)
Application requirements: National, public, and private universities and colleges of technology nationwide (main implementing organization)
- Subsidy amount: Up to 5 million yen/year for up to 5 years (up to 25 million yen in total)
