Great news!
As we informed everyone at the end of 2024, Zoological Science participated in BioOne's Subscribe to Open (S2O) model trial. The day before yesterday, we received a report that, thanks to support from global consortia and library partners, the S2O pilot project achieved its target for 2026, and the 2026 publications of 71 titles in BioOne Complete, including Zoological Science, will be published as open access (OA) immediately and permanently.
