Members of the Zoological Society of Japan
Next month, on Sunday, April 12, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the Science Council of Japan's Subcommittee on Biological Rhythms will hold a public symposium titled "The Wisdom of Organisms Surviving Seasonal Environmental Changes and the Science of Time: Circadian Clocks and Seasons." The event will take place at the Science Council of Japan's 1st-floor auditorium (with a concurrent online option via Zoom). Admission is free, and we warmly encourage everyone to attend. In addition to presentations by leading researchers in the field of chronobiology, Dr. Yoshifumi Yamaguchi will deliver a lecture on fascinating, cutting-edge topics in hibernation research, including the topic of bear hibernation that has recently been making news headlines (Could humans hibernate, too?).
Please visit the following website to view the lecture program and posters.
Those planning to attend in person can do so without prior registration. For those wishing to participate online, please fill in your email address and other details in the "Registration Form" on the website below in advance.
Information on how to connect online will be sent by email a few days before the symposium.
