Shiraishi Science Foundation Research Grants 2026 Call for Applications

1. Purpose of the Grant
We aim to promote science and engineering that enable the advanced utilization of calcium, solve various challenges facing modern society through the application of calcium and calcium compounds, and contribute to the development of a prosperous and convenient society.

2. Types of Grants / Number of Grants and Grant Amounts
(1) Research Grant: Grants for outstanding research on the science and engineering related to the development and production of calcium-related materials / Up to 10 projects, 1 million yen per project
(2) Grants for the development of engineers and researchers: Grants for the development of young engineers and researchers engaged in calcium-related sciences and engineering research / 10 grants or less, 300,000 yen per grant

3. Application Period: Friday, May 1, 2026 – Friday, July 31, 2026 (Must arrive by)

4. Grant period: One year from April 2027
