Dear Members of the Zoological Society of Japan

The Zoological Society of Japan, a public interest incorporated foundation, hereby announces the election and will hold the election for members of the Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 term (term of office: September 2026 to September 2028) as follows.

The following individuals cannot be "candidates for election" in this board election based on Article 26 of the Articles of Incorporation, so their names will be removed from the roster of eligible candidates for each branch.

Furthermore, pursuant to Article 8 of Chapter 2 of the Bylaws (Board member candidates shall be elected from regular and student members), honorary members, long-term members, senior members, and elementary/junior high/high school teacher members will be excluded from the list of eligible candidates.
Elections are conducted via electronic voting. If you wish to vote by mail, please let us know by replying to this email. The secretariat will send you the voter list, ballot, and return envelope.

■ Election Announcement

Based on Chapter 2, Articles 8 and 9 of the Bylaws of the Zoological Society of Japan, a public interest incorporated foundation, the election will be conducted by secret ballot with multiple non-transferable votes for each branch up to the fixed number specified below.
