Following the first conference held in Osaka in 2024, this conference aims to deepen exchanges among Xenopus researchers in the Asian region and foster new collaborative research and research networks.
Below are the meeting details. If you will be attending, please be sure to register using the registration form (even if you have already indicated your intention to attend or present, we kindly ask that you register again).

There are two presentation formats: oral and poster. If the oral presentation slots are filled, we may ask you to present a poster instead.

Additionally, this event is co-organized with the Korean Model Animal Consortium, and the first day (August 24) will feature a joint international symposium with other model animals (mice, zebrafish, fruit flies, and nematodes).
The rough schedule at this time is as follows, so please use it as a reference for booking your flights and hotel.
August 24, 13:00 - International Joint Symposium + Reception
August 25, 9:30-18:00 Xenopus Conference (including Keynote)
August 26, 9:30-13:00 African Clawed Frog Conference

Although the participation fee has not yet been finalized, with the support of the Korean side, it is expected to be 10,000 yen for faculty members and free for students.
Additionally, the welcome reception on the first day and lunch on the second day are free of charge.

We hope to make the plenary session an opportunity for early-career researchers to present and network at international conferences.
We would greatly appreciate it if PIs could also share this information with their students and postdocs.

All the organizers are making preparations to ensure a productive meeting.
We sincerely look forward to your participation.
