Dear Members of the Zoological Society of Japan
Member Hiroyuki Takeda donated old materials related to the Zoological Society that were discovered during the closing of Takeda Laboratory at the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Science Building No. 2, after their contents were verified with the cooperation of member Sadao Yasugi.
Please view the materials (lists and photos) at the URL below. They are materials from the Meiji period up to the pre-war and wartime periods. There are also personal seals and other items used at that time.
In accordance with Takeda-san's wishes, we would like to offer this material to any Zoological Society members who would like to have it. Please contact the secretariat by noon on Friday, May 24th at ( zsj-society@zoology.or.jp Please contact us by email at ).
If there are duplicate applicants, a lottery will be held by the president. If there are no applicants, with the consent of member Takeda, we will dispose of them under the responsibility of the president.
