Overview: The Department of Biological Sciences, Graduate School of Science, Osaka University, is seeking applications for a Professor position. We are looking for an individual who conducts outstanding, original research across all areas of biological sciences—spanning molecular, cellular, organismal, and population levels—as well as interdisciplinary and boundary areas merging biology with physics, mathematical sciences, or chemistry, and who can demonstrate leadership both nationally and internationally. In addition to research, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as general education for the entire university.
