To all members of the Zoological Society of Japan, Public Interest Incorporated Association
The 90th Annual Meeting of the Zoological Society of Japan will be held for three days from September 12 (Thu) to September 14 (Sat), 2019, at the Sugimoto Campus of Osaka City University in Osaka City, as outlined below.
Access to the venue, located in the southern part of Osaka City, takes about 70 minutes from Osaka International Airport (Itami) or Kansai International Airport, about 1 hour from Shin-Osaka Station (Shinkansen), and about 30 minutes from Tennoji Station, the central hub of southern Osaka. The nearest stations are Sugimotocho Station on the JR Hanwa Line and Abiko Station on the Osaka Metro.
This conference will be held in a university lecture building. Considering the number and size of the classrooms, general presentations will be limited to oral presentations. Since this is a great opportunity for students to give oral presentations as well, we strongly encourage active submission of abstract proposals.
What is the deadline for abstract submission?Friday, May 31, 2019is planned. We also plan to make it possible to hold many open symposia and related meetings.
Although Osaka is not particularly known for special gifts from the sea or mountains, the venue is close to the center of the "city of eating until you drop," so please be sure to enjoy Osaka's food culture as well.
