Dear Members of the Zoological Society of Japan
At the Waseda tournament, it has been officially decided to open a "Zoology Visualization General Consultation Office" as a collaborative project with the NHK wildlife program "Darwin's Amazing Animals!".
At the consultation center, a professional group that has filmed animals in the air, on land, on the surface of the water, and underwater is waiting for you, and will advise you on equipment and methods for producing footage, including filming and editing related to zoology. Student members, please feel free to consult with us.
Walk-ins at the information desk during the tournament are accepted without advance reservation, but to ensure smoother service, we welcome advance inquiries by email or other means.
For details, please check the tournament website (https://www.zoology.or.jp/annual-meeting/2/See ).
Please submit your application or direct any inquiries to the contact address below.

Regarding consultation acceptance for the "Zoological Visualization General Consultation Office"
Eligibility: Waseda tournament participants who love animals (young participants, including students, are also welcome to inquire casually)
The consultation details will be viewed and managed exclusively by the program and tournament steering committee's consultation desk staff, and will be kept strictly confidential. The program or tournament steering committee may wish to use this information, but in such cases, we will always consult with you in advance and will not use it without your consent.
Content: Consultation regarding the visualization of zoology.
We accept consultations on anything related to "zoology," ranging from methods for filming and recording the ecology and behavior of wild animals, to visualizing laboratory experiments and producing research introduction videos. Not only videos, but also still images and audio are covered.
Application destination:
darwin.visualization@list.waseda.jp
This collaboration project was realized based on a shared passion between the show and the academic society: a love for animals and a desire to help many people understand their greatness. The purpose of this collaboration is to pioneer the future of animals and science through exchange.
*The program plans to broadcast footage of the collaboration between the staff and researchers coming to fruition. Therefore, we will be filming the consultation room, but you may decline to have it broadcast. We are informed that consultations will still be available even in that case.
*To all student members: This consultation office also welcomes "murmur"-like consultations from student members. Please feel free to come for a consultation either individually or in groups. On the other hand, it is also true that all research activities of student members are conducted under the responsibility of their academic advisors, including laboratory safety management and research budgets. Since the consultation office and the convention executive committee will only contact the contact information provided on the application form, we recommend acting like adults by doing things such as informing your academic advisor that you are consulting them and reporting the results to them.
