Announcement of the 2nd Open Symposium of the Research Group for Compiling the Natural History of Excretion

The Research Group for Weaving the Natural History of Excretion is a study group that comprehensively covers the excretory behaviors of living things, including humans, and the research activities generated from excreted matter.

At the second study meeting, we will welcome Juichi Yamagiwa, Director-General of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, to share episodes on wild gorilla excretion. Furthermore, through presentations on excretion research from various academic fields, we hope to highlight the diversity of research methods and the phenomenon of excretion itself, creating an opportunity to thoroughly explore the fascination of "releasing" and "released matter" as research subjects.

We look forward to your participation.
