The 25th Annual Meeting of the Japan Photobiology Association (2025) will be held from August 27 to 28 at the Biwako-Kusatsu Campus of Ritsumeikan University.
This association is a federation of academic societies and does not have individual memberships. Anyone with an interest is welcome to participate and present, so please consider making a presentation. Also, at this stage, only the presentation category (oral or poster) is required; titles and abstracts are not necessary.
The Japanese Photobiology Association is operated by the 12 academic societies listed below. Annual meetings are held regularly to facilitate the exchange of ideas among researchers and students with a broad interest in photobiology. Everyone interested in photobiology is welcome to attend the annual meetings. We look forward to your active participation and presentations.

For general presentations, there are oral presentations (scheduled for 15 minutes, including Q&A) and poster presentations. Please select one of the two.
- An Outstanding Presentation Award will be established for poster presentations, targeting students and young researchers within 5 years of obtaining their degree. If you select a poster presentation, please also indicate on the application form whether you wish to be considered for the Poster Presentation Award.
