Dear members of the Zoological Society

We are pleased to announce the 1st Evo-Devo Young Researchers Workshop, aimed at early-career researchers interested in Evolutionary Developmental Biology (Evo-Devo). We warmly invite everyone to participate actively, from undergraduate students who are interested in Evo-Devo but have not yet started research, to researchers who are actively advancing their own studies.

Date: March 11 (Tue) – 12 (Wed), 2025
Location: Okazaki Conference Center (Aichi Prefecture)
Registration Deadline: Friday, January 31, 2025
Theme: Evo-Devo: Past and Future
Program: Flash talks, Keynote lectures, Special lectures, Poster presentations (World Poster format), Workshop "What should Evo-Devo reveal in the next decade?"
Keynote Lectures: Dr. Noriyuki Satoh (Professor, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University), Dr. Shigeru Kuratani (Visiting Principal Investigator, RIKEN)
Special Lecture: Dr. Zenya Yoshida (Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Exeter)

In addition, we will subsidize transportation and accommodation expenses for those who wish. Transportation support is planned to be up to 20,000 yen per person, but due to limited budget, we may not be able to meet your request even if you apply. Please understand this in advance.
