The Narishige Animal Science Research Foundation is a fund established to provide research grants to researchers engaged in the study of animal science, thereby contributing to the progress and development of academic research in Japan.
The application deadline for the FY2025 research grants is Monday, June 30.

Eligible for grants
(1) Must be a researcher engaged in basic animal science research. (Students are not eligible)
(2) Research may be conducted individually or collaboratively. In the case of collaborative research, the application must be submitted under the responsibility of the representative.
*Those who have received a grant in the past are excluded. Additionally, applicants must be affiliated with a Japanese research institution at the time the research is conducted.

Grant amount
The total subsidy amount is approximately 3.5 million yen (up to 700,000 yen per project).
The grant can be used for equipment, consumables, honoraria, domestic travel expenses, and other costs, as well as overseas travel expenses.
If it is designated as entrusted accounting, indirect expenses cannot be paid using the grant.

Application deadline
Must arrive by Monday, June 30, 2025
