Guidelines for the High School Student Scientific Research Presentation Event

The Tohoku Branch of the Zoological Society of Japan provides an opportunity to present the results of scientific research conducted in high schools. Please use this as an opportunity to further enhance your interest and enthusiasm for scientific research through question-and-answer sessions with researchers, undergraduate students, and graduate students.

The content of the research presentation must be scientific research conducted independently through school club activities, project-based studies, or similar endeavors. Presentations with the exact same content and title as previously published work are not permitted; please include new content. Ongoing research without final results yet, as well as projects in the planning stage, are also welcome.

In addition, please clearly distinguish between what others have published and the content you yourselves will be presenting. As this will be a valuable opportunity for society members to offer advice to students who are about to advance their research, we encourage you to actively participate.
