Holding of the International Symposium "AGCC2025 Genetics in Asia: Heredity, Diversity, Discovery, and Beyond"

Notice: The deadline for poster presentation applications has been extended to Friday, October 24.

We will hold the international symposium "AGCC2025 Genetics in Asia: Heredity, Diversity, Discovery, and Beyond," inviting prominent genetics researchers representing various Asian countries and regions (details here: https://sites.google.com/view/agcc2025）。
For this symposium, we are widely inviting poster presentations. The presentation language will be English, and several outstanding abstracts from the submissions will be selected for short talks. We strongly encourage you to apply proactively.

Date: Friday, November 14, 2025 (Registration opens at 1:00 PM) – Saturday, November 15, 2025
In addition, there is an excursion scheduled from the morning to noon on Sunday, November 16.
Location: Numazu City Library, 4th Floor Hall
Admission fee: Free
Social gathering fee (scheduled for November 15 near Numazu Station) / Excursion costs are at actual expense (each is planned to be around 4,000 yen)

About AGCC 2025
AGCC (Asian Genetics Consortium Conference) is an international conference aimed at bringing together the power of academic diversity and collaboration in Asia to achieve sustainable development. It was established to promote cooperation among genetic societies and research groups in various Asian countries, which had previously been primarily domestic, and to create a truly international and cross-regional platform for academic exchange. The first symposium was held in Busan under the leadership of the Genetics Society of Korea in 2024. The second AGCC, AGCC2025, will be hosted by the Genetics Society of Japan. The theme for this year is "Genetics in Asia: Heredity, Diversity, Discovery, and Beyond," aiming to introduce and facilitate exchange regarding diverse genetic research across Asian countries.
