As part of its initiative to promote the advancement of female researchers, JST has opened the call for applications for the 8th "Brilliant Female Researcher Award (Jun Ashida Award)," which honors female researchers who conduct outstanding research contributing to a sustainable society and future, as well as institutions promoting their advancement. We strongly encourage you to apply.

Brilliant Female Researcher Award (Female Researcher)
- Principally under 40 years of age (however, taking into consideration periods of research activity suspension due to life events, etc.)
Field of research is not specified as long as it is related to science and technology.
Both self-nominations and nominations by others are accepted. In the case of nomination by another, the consent of the researcher is required.
Award for Encouraging the Success of Brilliant Female Researchers (Institution)
Institutions implementing initiatives that serve as models for other organizations by contributing to the advancement of female researchers
Universities, companies, research institutions, educational organizations, academic societies, groups, NPOs, etc., to which female researchers and engineers belong or are affiliated, or which are working to promote the active participation of female researchers and engineers
Both self-nominations and nominations by others are accepted. If nominating another, the consent of the candidate organization is required.
- Be able to attend the award announcement and ceremony (Sunday, October 25) to be held in Tokyo.
