This is the 24th term secretariat. We are forwarding an announcement from the Gender Equality Bureau Cabinet Office.

Thank you very much for your continued cooperation and support in promoting policies to realize a gender-equal society.
I would like to inform you of the following two points:

■ Notice of holding the "National Conference for the Creation of a Gender-Equal Society" and Request for Cooperation

As a central event for Gender Equality Week (June 23–29), the "National Conference for Building a Gender-Equal Society in FY2026" will be held on Monday, June 29.
this fiscal year, the Women's Challenge Award presentation, a keynote lecture by Nami Otsuki, President of the Japan Gender Equality Promotion Agency (JGEPA), an independent administrative institution established in April 2026,
We are planning a panel discussion themed “Your Uniqueness is the Power of the ”Community,'" and we cordially invite you to join us.

We also kindly ask for your cooperation in spreading the word to various channels so that as many people as possible can participate.
If you wish to participate, please apply through the application form on the Gender Equality Bureau website.
