Zoological Society of Japan
Dear Members
Thank you for your continued support. This is the Young Researchers' Association in Evolutionary Biology.
We are pleased to announce that the "Master's Thesis Presentation and Young Researcher Networking Event in the Field of Evolutionary Biology" will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, starting at 3:00 PM.
Master's second-year students graduating this year who wish to do so will give a 10-minute presentation (followed by a 5-minute Q&A), and other participants will give a flash talk of about 1-3 minutes, after which we plan to hold an online social gathering.
This event aims to deepen interactions among young researchers, centered around students, through these exchanges.
We will also invite Taro Nojiri from the University of Tokyo, who received this year's Ikushi Prize, to give a lecture entitled "Evolution and Development of Flight and Echolocation Organs in Chiroptera."
Through this networking event, we will also be recruiting new board members for our association, so anyone interested in helping run the organization is encouraged to attend.
If there are any students in your laboratory who might be interested in this event, please let them know.
