Request for Cooperation in the "Survey on the Usage Status of Human Umbilical Cord Blood for Research"
The Zoological Society of Japan has decided to cooperate with the "Survey on the Utilization Status of Human Umbilical Cord Blood for Research," upon the request of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), as well as the Institute of Medical Science, The University of Tokyo, and the RIKEN BioResource Research Center (implementing institutions of this project), as part of the MEXT National BioResource Project "Human Umbilical Cord Blood Bioresource Project for Research."
This survey is conducted for the purpose of understanding the needs for umbilical cord blood within the research community. Specifically, we will ask about the respondents' attributes, the current usage status and purposes of umbilical cord blood, acquisition methods, types of umbilical cord blood samples for research, and overall requests regarding the human umbilical cord blood bioresource project for research.
Therefore, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the survey during the survey period in accordance with the following instructions.
