Its purpose isTo support female researchers who, despite facing difficulties in continuing their research due to unstable employment status or other reasons, strive with a strong will and high aspirations to advance outstanding research in the field of animal scienceaims to. Furthermore, Mr. Oba has made an advance donation of 10 million yen, and building upon that, has donated 1 million yen annually for 20 years starting in 2001, which has enabled this association to present the OM Award every year.

Now, last week, we received a further 10 million yen donation from Mr. Oba, bringing the total amount entrusted to our organization to 20 million yen, combined with the 10 million yen previously donated.
