Appointment of Honorary Members of the Zoological Society of Japan for FY2023

Dear Members of the Zoological Society of Japan

At the Board of Directors meeting of the Zoological Society of Japan held on Saturday, June 17, starting at 12:00 PM, two members were nominated as honorary members by the directors.

After hearing the explanation of the reasons for recommendation from the recommending director, the board of directors deliberated and decided to confer the title of honorary member on the following two individuals.

Kentaro Arikawa, Member (Research Center for Integrative Evolutionary Science, The Graduate University for Advanced Studies)
Shigeru Kuratani, Member (RIKEN Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research)
