Dear members of the Kyushu Branch of the Zoological Society of Japan

We called for candidates for the Kyushu district prefectural branch committee members starting July 1, 2026 (two-year term), but no candidates came forward.
Therefore, we would like Professor Jiro Okada of Nagasaki University, the incoming branch manager, to appoint one of the members from each prefecture as a branch committee member.
There will be one branch committee member per prefecture.
