We will hold the kick-off symposium and public offering briefing session for the Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A) (R8-R12) "Sex Chromosome Cycle," which was established this academic year, as follows.

Date and Time: Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 13:00 - 17:30
Location: Tokyo Metropolitan University, Minamiosawa Campus, Building 11, Room 204 (In-person only)
13:00 - 16:20 Kickoff Symposium (Explanation of research area overview, introduction of research plans for each team)
16:30 - 17:30 Public offering briefing session

In addition to explaining the overview of the research area and introducing the research plans of each group, an information session regarding the public solicitation of research proposals for this area for fiscal years 2027 to 2028 will also be held.
Pre-registration is not required and participation is free, so anyone interested is welcome to attend. We would also appreciate it if you could share this information with anyone who might be interested.
