概要：大阪大学大学院理学研究科生物科学専攻では、分子・細胞・個体・集団などの各階層を対象とする生物科学全般、ならびに生物学と物理学・数理科学・化学との融合・境界領域を対象として、卓越した独創的研究を展開し、国内外でリーダーシップを発揮できる教授を公募します。採用された方には、研究に加え、全学共通教育・学部・大学院教育を担当していただきます。

Sciences, Graduate School of Science, The University of Osaka invites applications for a Professorship from outstanding researchers conducting innovative research in any area of the biological sciences at the molecular, cellular, organismal, or population level, or in interdisciplinary fields at the interface of biology and physics, mathematics, or chemistry. The successful candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized research program and demonstrate scientific leadership both nationally and internationally. In addition to research, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching general education courses across the university, as well as in undergraduate and graduate programs.

Specialized Field: Biological Sciences 6. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will lead an independent research group and promote original research activities. The candidate will also be responsible for teaching and supervising students at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the Department of Biological Sciences, Graduate School of Science. Additional responsibilities include participation in departmental and university operations such as entrance examinations, committee work, university-wide general education courses, and organizational management.
